WHO'S BETTER, WHO'S BEST - The Video

1. "My Generation" - Live at the Marquee Club (1966?). B&W. Scorching.
The best clip on the tape.
2. "I Can't Explain" - The "video." Old B&W footage of The Who & Mods &
stuff. Pete looks to be about twelve.
3. "Substitute" - The "video." Lip-synched B&W stuff a la TKAA film.
4. "The Kids Are Alright" - The "video." B&W footage of The Who lip-synching
by the Thames. Eye-grabbing flares on Daltrey.
5. "I'm A Boy" - The Beat Club "video." B&W lip-synch.
6. "Happy Jack" - The B&W cops & robbers "video" a la TKAA.
7. "Pictures Of Lily" - The B&W lip-synch "video" a la TKAA. Daring early-New
    Romantic outfit on Moon.
8. "You Better, You Bet" - B&W video (no quotes!) a la early-80's MTV. Smart
    pair of Nikes on Daltrey.
9. "I Can See For Miles" - Color Smothers Brothers lip-synch deal.
10. "Magic Bus" - Live abbreviated (no Moon drum explosion - just the woodblocks)
version from 1972, I think. Europe? Off-key backing vocals from OX. Since
this isn't even the whole song, this clip stinks.
11. "Pinball Wizard" - Live at Woodstock 1969 a la TKAA.
12. "I'm Free" - Live from 1969, I believe (London Coliseum?). Second best clip
    on the tape.
13. "See Me, Feel Me" - Live at Woodstock1969 a la TKAA.
14. "Join Together" - Color "video" of the band lip-synching for some T.V. show
(little help?). Ugly-Who period. Moon is funny - just his facial expressions.
They all (except Moon) hop off into the "audience" towards the end.
15. "Who Are You" - 1978 studio rehearsal a la TKAA. Sadly, Daltrey's exclama-
    tion ("Nearly!) is edited out.
16. "Won't Get Fooled Again" - Shepperton footage a la TKAA. Shockingly, the
credits start rolling during the synth solo. Shockingly, Daltrey's exclamation ("You
got ta!!") after the "Same as the old boss" line is edited out (as on the record/CD).
Only in the film is it left in. Love the "You got ta!!"

And that's it.
