Mmmm. This also implies that if Pete has an off day, lets say (if you take
the Bono example) broke his left hand), that Roger would carry the show. I'm
sorry, but I dont think Roge has the ability to do so.
Like Bono, Pete runs the show

And if there's one band in which the sum is greater than its individuals
than its U2. You can find any Adam Clayton or Larry Mullen jr. in every
street. The Edge has incredible feeling for equipment and how to use it. but
technically not a gifted player (but together with Bono a great composer)
and Bono, well he's the Pete Townshend of U2, a bloody genius
