Re: I Got 'em

From: Bjorn Ciggaar <ciggaar@warande.net>
"Well, "too much of anything". If I'm going to see them again for the 19th
time in 2 years they're gonna lose the magic. The Who live is not an
addiction to me. I am just saying "no" to The Who concerts across the pond."

Bjorn,
If it is not an addicition, why are you rationalizing your behaviour with a
group of addicts? Frankly, your "the dope isn't good enough for me anymore"
line is pretty weak.

I've got a few more rationalizations for you to try out:

- It is *just* a rock band.
- I have other stuff to do.
- It is none of your business what I do with my time.
- Overindulgence is getting in the way of my real life.
- My Mommy said "no".

:0)

One (other) strange thing about this whole line of discussion is why we
(collectively) feel such a need to talk you into doing the tour. I really
don't understand. There are others on this list (myself included) who will
see only one show this summer, despite the fact that there will likely be at
least 6 other shows within driving distance to my home. Why do you suppose
noone is trying to convince me to do more? Should my feelings be hurt?
Should I try to become more well-known as a fan? Do people dislike me that
much? Aren't I cute enough? Should I feel sad?

Jeff
