Alan:

I haven't seen anything about one since Geraldo interviewed him, probably in
the 80's, but it's my understanding his case for being released is as
rational as his reasoning for the Tate murders. Double talk, veiled threats
that aren't particularly veiled, anything to throw off the possibility. Also
before the murders he was among the prison population, and unless
something's changed this is not true now. He may not like it as much...I
understand he was quite a fan of showers, if you know what I mean.

WHY does the Superbowl have to have someone to perform? It used to be just
the cheerleaders. Now it's a big deal Vegas show. I thought it was about
football. Are they so paranoid that they're afraid they'll lose viewership
for the part of the game which is potentially the most exciting?
Why do humans tend to pollute everything with something that's not
appropriate? Rock music at a sporting event...why not watch Wrestling, then?
I'll take my Rock straight, not watered down, thank you. That IS why I'm a
Who fan...straight pure Rock.

I certainly agree with you there.

Kevin:

Then when you hear those songs, you should be able to relate. Or maybe not,
but it takes me right back there.

Well, there you are! Same subject, different take. Maybe you just don't like
acoustic Pete?

John:

Been a fan since The Crossing. I've heard of The Skids, too.

Red Hill Mining Town is my favorite cut on it. Which side was that on (I was
buying only CDs by then)? Anyway, it seems to me that U2 albums up to and
including JT had a consistancy.

AB was not consistant as the earlier ones were, but there are some damned
great songs on it. As for the show you refer to...it was meant to be a
put-on of Rock Stars and what the industry had become. It also seemed to me,
with Zooropa, that he started to live the role.

Jim:

You wouldn't say that if you'd lived there. It wasn't Leave It To Beaver. It
was more like The Wanderers. Ever catch that movie? Brilliant.

Oh come on now, that's bullshit. Blame the people who brought all of it out
into the public, not the guy who was TRYING to keep his private dealings
private.

>BTW, I think it's Libertarians

They are pretty durn wacky, those guys! Like Koresh-type thinking, militias,
etc.

clouds?

Keets:

Duck and cover. That's right.

Depends on the state. Some can split their vote. But no, they don't have to
ONLY vote one of the two parties.
