Re: least favorite who songs and U2

U2 at the Super Bowl definitely didn't upstage the Who in relation to 911.
No one will associate them with 911. Their perfromance is already forgotten.
More people are ripping them for a weak performance than are viewing them as
some sort of 911 symbol. The who at CFNYC still is far above, despite the
miniscule viewership, in comparison, to U2.

As for least fav who songs, i agree with many posts here. Never got into
boris, YBYB, or Happy Jack. Despite keith's drumming, i really can't stand
Happy Jack. I don't think athena is as bad as some of you do. It's too
"pop"-ish, but not horrible. It's not really a Who song, tho. Doesn't have
a who sound at all. I also can't get into sunrise. I actually love Magic
Bus, but I totally agree that the regular studio version is still way better
than any live version. They can't seem to get it just right. The IOW
version isn't bad, but the background vocals are terrible. Pete leaves john
hung out to dry too much. They also can't seem to get pinball wizard right
live, either. Studio is much better than live versions i've heard. In
contrast, I like live WAY and BOR versions better than studio. Same with
Can't explain and most of the Tommy songs.
