Yeah, it was MG. This is also recorded on the liner notes of the MG greatest
hits thing that came out in the late 90's. Tony Fletcher also put it in his
book. And I was there in 1965 too. But as we all know Roger went through
that period from 65 to 69 where he was the oddball in his own band. Tommy
gave him back the spotlight because of the American audience's reaction in
69-70 and we all got Live at Leeds as a reward. When Pete wins, Roger wins.
Then we win. That is The Who.
