Good point, but it was after *"My Generation"* broke that Roger 
was "pulled back into the fray."

Well, they always say in interviews that it was a last ditch effort.
After some initial success with the early singles in the mid-60's
they reached a dry spell around '68 with their weirder stuff like 
"Dogs" & "Magic Bus."  I guess even their fee for performing had 
dropped considerably, also.  Plus (big plus), they were steeped in
debt & the creditors were banging on the door.
