Good News... Bad News
Just thinking about the threads and events of the past few days
and weighing the topics and opinions. I thought
I'd comment on some as a good news / bad news.
Good news is Who's Left had a successful start of the 3rd leg of the tour.
Bad news is that Pete ruined a show because he did not smile.
Good news is that AEB seems to like Roger again.
Bad news is that AEB's comments forced Mc into lurk mode
(a.k.a the Phantom Zone from Superman II).
Good news is that Pete was on NPR yesterday.
Bad news is that I missed it (Thanks for the heads up though Brian).
Bad news is that there is now new Who songs.
Good news is that stereo reissue of My Generation is out.
Good news is that the 2002 tour will be available on CDs for charity
Bad news is that they are expensive, and not new songs.
Good news is that Jon in MI is posting more frequently with good posts.
Bad news is that his enthusiasm is often met with skepticism.
Bad news is John is no longer here :(
Good news is that our boys are playing live in 2002.
Good news is that Kevin is a new father :)
Bad news: NONE!
Bad news is that John died on June 27th before the tour started.
Good news is that Pete and Roger decided to carry on.
Good news is that The Who as a brand has never been more popular to
young and old alike in the past 10 years.
Bad news is that some believe that they should drop their brand to
ensure artistic purity.
Good news is that Pete and Roger are performing with increased
intensity the likes have not been seen in 15 years.
Bad news is that I believe John's death was the catalyst.
Good news is that Brian posts lots of links and news here.
Bad news is that I learned from Jeff that he doesn't read it ?
Good news is that "Anyway, Anyhow, Anywhere" has been purchased
by my 8 1/2 year old son for me as a Christmas present.
Bad news is that I'll have to wait until December to see it.
Bad news is I want to go to the Mansfield II show but cannot make it :(
Good news is that I met a great bunch of people in Camden,
received a Lifehouse Pete poster and MSG Quad CDs
from Magik (thanks again) :)
Good news is that many are trying to help Mark see what we have
seen on this tour and accept that our boys are really doing
their legacy proud.
Bad news is that he's not there yet (not that there's anything wrong
with that).
Bad news is the MSG Quad CDs I received from Magik were loaned to
Kevin, Stu and Scott for their continued journey to Hershey.
Good news is that Scott made me copies that I received with some
other great video footage of our boys just last week (thanks again) :)
Bad news is that all along I've been sucking limes to be more British and
to ward off rickets.
Good news is that while I'm not any more British, I have accidently
protected myself from scurvy. :)
Bad news is that Mc is not going to post until he has reached his cooling
off period.
Good news is that he will continue to see his name referenced on the list
because in the end he's a Who fan, and I believe him to be
a reasonable bloke.
