I could sense it big time when I saw Robert Plant this time in Grand Rapids.
They played Celebration day to an audience that was sitting down!! (except
me). The two guitar players were moving around alot more trying to get the
crowd into it and Plant kept yelling to the crowd "I can't hear you!" and "Do
it again!" He was much better and I really enjoyed this effort.
I was thinking at the time that if Led Zeppelin were here there would be a
huge power rush and the crowd would not be looking at their watches. What do
you think that Robert was thinking? He has been consistently getting his ass
kicked by The Who and I believe that it has to be shaking him up.
He has witnessed first hand the incredible power that The Who have and I bet
Zak Starkey got him thinking. He has always been the stick in the mud as far
as the LZ reunion. I am personally glad that JPJ said no last year to get
them back for not including him in the Page Plant years. He is an awesome
bassist/musician.
It is quite ironic that The Who were a major influence in the origional
formation of LZ and now they may be instrumental in a possible reunion.
New Who album? New Who tour? Led Zeppelin is back?
WOW!!
