More Info On The Live CD's

Repost from O&S about the live series of CD's being offerred by Eel Pie.
At the time of this post, only the Detroit show was available for ordering.

price is listed as "16 pounds"....i think that is about $24 (about 2x higher
than i had hoped they would sell 'em for...going to charity though
supposedly...in any case better than giving $$ to bootleggers)

there is additional charge of shipping + VAT (if in the UK)

i went ahead and ordered a copy & it charged 4 pounds additional for the
shipping, bringing the total to 20 pounds, or about $30 (ouch)

artwork looks very similar to what pearl jam did (simple brownish design,
like LIVE AT LEEDS now that i think about it)

Q: How long will it take to receive the CDs I purchase?
A: Your order will be held until the product is shipped. Your card will be
debited immediately prior to shipping. Allow 28 days for delivery. Mostly it
will be much quicker but we need to allow for any delays in domestic postal
systems.

Q: Will there be a complete box set for sale inclusive of all the concerts?
A: We are considering a box to hold the CDs for those that buy the complete
series. It would contain some value added bonus items. It will depend upon
your response to the Encore Series.

Q: Can I buy these in stores or at the concert venues?
A: NO only on the internet via TheMusic.com.

Q: Are these limited editions?
A: Yes, they are absolutely limited edition, you will be able to buy them
only as long as quantities last.

Q: What charities will the profits be given to?
A: All profits will go to a number of bona fide young peoples' charities
supported by The Who . Specifics to be announced.

Q: How can I pay for it?
A: You can only pay by credit card over the internet.

Q: Will there be vinyl issues?
A: Nothing is planned at this time.

Q: Can I pay in dollars?
A: You will be charged in sterling but your credit card company will bill
you in your national currency.

Q: Can I change details on my order?
A: Customer must check the order details before posting as it cannot be
changed after its been processed.

Q: How are the CDs being sent to customers?
A: In the USA via UPS Ground Service. For the rest of the world shipping
will be via Airmail.
