Okay, I finished this up last night, and I have another observation. I
don't think the band was all together. This is unusual. You'd figure the
classical guys might be out in left field, but The Deep End Band usually
suits Pete.

I'd say that they've rehearsed it one way, but then when Pete got to the
venue, he changed his mind about how it should be played. Sure enough, the
classical guys are out in left field, but half the DEB is, too. Townshend,
Lindscott and Merchan are playing a high-energy show here, and everybody
else is in la-la land. The back-up singers are actually a drag on the
energy of the show.

That said, there are a couple of big winners on the DVD. One of the is the
"Fantasia Upon One Note." This is very well done, a solidly classical style
piece with a couple of curious modernisms in the voices that really catch at
your attention. I was disappointed in the final chord, though. It was
absolutely predictable. I was expecting Pete's trademark dissonance, but I
didn't get it. Need to fix that one, Pete. ;)

Does anyone know where the piece actually starts? Is that it at the
beginning of the show and the script is read against it?
