I know no more about this than I have posted, but my assumption is that The
Who's Garden time slot and the B B King's start time will be adjusted as
needed and as possible to allow John to make both shows on the 20th. (My
further guess is that B B's report that the JEB will still start at 8:00
just means B B's haven't got involved in the discussions yet.) It's
conceivable that John could play at BB's first, with an earlier start time,
then go to the Garden. OTOH, if the original 8:00 start time at B B King's
is kept and John plays the Garden first, it could result in the historical
moment of The Who opening for Limp Biskit :-D. So you see the logistical
and political problems.

I'm staying out of it until the people who actually control this decide
what can be done, and of course will post when anything definite is known.

Once again, although there is newly-increased rumor potential, as of today
there is NO indication that Pete and Roger will play at B B's.

And on a related topic, it's confirmed that the JEB at Mohegan Sun is a
free show, and I've put that on the Web. Thanks to Mr. House for sending
in the heads-up.

Cheers,

Alan
