Re: World Trade & More & a bit of hope for Jeff

Mark,

well and all Americans really,

Forget the NATO countries. I'm afraid the French - who envy and hate
America with equal passion will not lift a finger to help. The Germans
will hide behind the convenient clause in their constitution that says
"No German military will operate outside Germany". The Italians? 'nuff
said.

The Belgians? Not interested. The Spanish? Enough trouble of their own
with ETA and anyway they're not too keen on Americans. The Dutch? Not
interested.

What you'll be left with are Britain, Canada, the Russians and the
Chinese, who if they can get over their suspicion of American motives
will realise their own Muslim problems in Chechnya, and any number of
"-istans" for Russia and Xinjiang province (I think) will be helped
considerably if the head (and the body) is cut off the Muslim terrorist
organisations.

I can't comment on much of the Clinton era, as we never really saw much
over here, though we had much more information I suspect than you ever
did over his and Hilary's sexual and financial frauds.

But, over here, Clinton is perceived as being the lubricant that helped
the terrorists get up speed because he is seen as being weak on the
incidents many of you have mentioned (USS Cole, Sudan etc.)

But then, wtfdik?
