Re: Blues for Bush

Mark's right. For anyone who's unfamiliar with the economics, wars
stimulate the economy. The last one we had was under little George's daddy,
and they're still trying to figure out what the nerve gas did to cause Gulf
War Syndrome. All these references to Pearl Harbor are starting to give me
really ugly thoughts indeed, about how the US government let that attack
happen in order to mobilize the American people for war.

Bush has already called up the reserves, invoked NATO for support in
declaring a war, and asked Congress for an unlimited budget to redress this
wrong. He's made it personal by saying Air Force 1 and the White House were
targets. He needs government money to beef up the Military/Industrial
complex, and he want to run the budget at a deficit to do it.

Welcome to Republican economics.
