Great point.
I watched most of Ken Russell's Tommy this weekend for the the first time in 
a while.  Mrs House remarked that it was quite ahead of it's time in '69.  I 
was in a particularly grouchy mood and responded that the entire last 
section of the story (after the mirror smashing) was reduxed in 'Won't Get 
Fooled Again'.

BTW, I've heard naysayers describe Quad as a 90 minute 'My Generation'.  I 
think there is some truth in that.
