Is success the only thing it takes to become 'part of the
establishment'?  I don't think so.

I don't think Pete is part of the establishment, either.

In PsychoD he trashes the establishment of the press and in particular
the rock press, the 'managers' and the whole music business.  The
'establishment' hated it.

Just because you are financially succesful doesn't mean that there is
nothing left in the world that troubles you.
