*That's* a scary thought!! ;-)

They seemed to really have grabbed that golden ring. There's no hiding it
anymore. They fucking rock. And, John Cussac fucking rocked too! Did you
all catch him head banging in the front row???? At one point he stopped,
shook his head violently from side to side, kind of like "Man, I'm fucked
up, but I'm watching the best band in the world!" .

It's funny. I was getting pissed at all the MC's for VH1 and "stars" being
interviewed. When they listed the big performers for the evening, The Who
was never mentioned.
BUT! When you asked someone who they were there to see?????????? It was
The Who.
My take: People who know music knew The Who was the band to see. People
hired to generate excitement (MC's) only talked about those easily
identifiable people (Elton, Macca, B. Joel, Clappton). Are we still
suffering from the "Who?" syndrome?

>Yours in Who-ness,

Much Who my man! Glad you had a great virgin Live-Who experience. The
price tag made me cringe a bit, but hey..........if your happy, that's what
counts.
Just wait until next summer. Your Who cup will flow-eth over.

Message to Jeff House: Your prediction of a new National tragedy and The
Who coming back to save the day (or something like that) is absolutely
chilling right now.
Remind me to never doubt your word again, 'cause The Who definitely made a
huge impression on Sat. night.
Now I'm pissed I didn't record it!

I think he started his scream with too high of a pitch. What came out was,
well, nothing at first. And then kind of a high pitched squeal. Was it me,
or did I see Pete raise an eye brow and grin?

Also, any further thoughts on the "Pete hip-checking Rog across stage"
thing?
I thought they were just clowning around. Or, Pete kind of saying, "no
problem, a minor glitch, now get back there and slay them already!"
Any one detect any anger on Pete's part after watching it again on tape?

Stay in Tune,
