Psyhchoderelict and Steve Luongo

I'm reconsidering my opinion of Psychoderelict. "English Boy", "Let's Get
Pretentious", "Dinosaur", "Predictable", "Fake It" and "Now and Then" are
wonderful tunes. I reserve the right to bash the plot but I'm liking this
thing more and more with every listen.

I must be reconsidering my opinion on Steve Luongo, too. When I first heard
the JEB, I found his style to be a bit too precise for a good Who sound.
Since I'm going to three JEB shows in the next few days, I must be warming
to his charms. The precise skills that Luongo and Godfrey have really do
make them decent sidemen to John. It allows him to be the center of the
sound. It works.

Since Dave hasn't favored us with his reasoning on why Roger and Pete
dislike Luongo, I'll offer up a theory. He (Dave) heard a story about
Luongo's attempt to involve himself in The Who's 2000 Tour by picking up a
camera and presuming to have enough of an in with the band that he could
make a 'behind the scenes' kind of film. Roger and Pete squashed it. Am I
close, Dave?
