Hey, I don't think I'm just being an arrogant Yank here. Well, maybe a
little :-)
The Brits definitely incoroprated their own ideas and moved rock forward by
leaps and bounds. At the core it was always American. It still is.
BTW, Bruce is cool. He's not Pete or Dylan but he's pretty cool
nonetheless. "Darkness on the Edge of Town" was *nearly* as important to me
as Quad when I was trying to find my way through puberty. Of course, I
never listen to Springsteen nowadays.
