Naming a new street can be a dead-end assignment

...David Storer, Folsom planning inspections and permitting director, says
his city also tries to avoid duplicating names, and not only to simplify
things for emergency services.
"A developer who's trying to create a legacy isn't going to (want to) use a
name that's already been used," he says.
While many go for the geographical names such as "Rocky Cove" or the
sporting names such as "Duck Court," one local developer favored the names
of English rock 'n' rollers, says Storer. "There's an Entwhistle Way and
Daltry Way," referring to members of the band The Who....
