Actually, I feel he is getting _much_ more credit than he deserves,
but I know I am very singular in that opinion.
I reverse the Rolling Stones' song title and theme to this:
"It's the song, not the singer."

That is true, however, with Townshend's advances as a guitarist
_and_ vocalist, combined with my opinion that Roger no longer
interprets Pete's music well since "TheWho->ByNumbers", I
feel that as different as TheWho-> might be w/o Daltrey, they
would STILL be TheWho->, very strong, very vital.
I credit Zak with the salvation of TheWho-> as I knew/know
and love them.
Listen, don't get me wrong, I don't _want_ TheWho-> without
Daltrey, I am just not nearly as mesmerized by his talents as most
of you are, and VERY vocal about it, and that's OK by me.
I am only one fan with one opinion.

That is probably very true, but, again, IMO, his acting career is
an exercise in futility, and without TheWho->, or more "on point,"
without *Townshend,* Daltrey is just Joe-average.

I have no opinion on that, unless Keith Moon was alive.
Now _there_ was a Who-> fan!

My bro' Dan made the comments about the Italian cars, all of
which are meaningless to me.
'course, I do love those Brit motorcycles and autos!
The first motorcycle I ever sat upon was a Triumph in 1952.
