invited up to sing on McCartney's ''Let It Be.''
''Just before it, we were behind the curtain watching McCartney sing
`Yesterday.' I was standing alongside Pete Townshend, Billy Joel, and Eric
Clapton and I was in complete la-la land. Then Townshend shook my hand and
said, `OK, let's go sing `Let It Be.' It's a moment I'll never forget.''...
