Roger is optimistic, and he seems to chatter on about all sorts of possible 
events, just in case mentioning them to the press could increase the 
liklihood of them actually happening.  John would rather not commit, at 
least until the road crew starts packing.

How's that for an analysis?  ;)

It's an interesting study in personalities, and you can track the results.  
Doesn't it seem that the more outgoing the personality, the easier promotion 
becomes?  Keith Moon was always the marketing genius of The Who, and Pete 
pretty much falls next.  Roger has said he's not that great at interviews, 
but it doesn't stop him from trying. Likely John did well in getting Luongo 
on the phone, too.
