Jeff,

My wife and kids (daughter 9 and son 7) were just there in April. You will
want to make reservations for the London Eye (the large ferris wheel).
You can do it on the internet with credit cards, and bypass all of the lines.

If you're going to be in London for most of a day, the tube (subway) is your
best bet. Be sure an get a family package in the inner-city zones. It is the
cheapest, and allows all-day travel in the tube for one price.

The London Bridge tour is essential, as is the London Tower. I also found
the big red bus tour to be pretty cool. Again, you can pay 1 price, and get
off and back on several times during the day.

If you have a son, I found the HMS Belfast (battleship) to keep his interest.

It is an expensive city, so be prepared to spend about 25% more than you
expect to spend.

Have fun.

Joe from Philly.
