Couldn't agree with you more.  BUT, if Pete were to sit in his studio and
fire up a shorty, don't you think his natural juices would flow???
On stage, being clean is the way (although look at Santana at Woodstock).
Nothing to "trip" over.  But in the "creative" process of actually
"creating" something, history shows that the most creative have either been
crazy, or on lots and lots of drugs.
