Who bio at VH1

Everybody has to update their Who bio since the recent tour, and here's what
VH1 has to say. This is really interesting. First that shot last night of
TED with short hair in their New Wave incarnation and now this. It looks
like VH1 is suddenly behind TED, giving them a promotional push. Ha. I bet
they'd be open to playing some Who videos.

>The drummer for this latest re-formation
was Zak Starkey (b. 13 September 1965, London,
England), son of Ringo Starr. The Who's major tour in 2000
(with Starkey and John 'Rabbit' Bundrick ) was
remarkable. Keith Moon would have been proud of the
younger Starkey's uncanny ability to 'play in the style of'.
Townshend appeared to enjoy playing onstage and
relations on and off stage with Daltrey were highly
amiable. The music at most concerts was stunning, and
belied the ages of the three senior members. They are
unquestionably one of the finest acts of the rock
generation, and they continue to be one of the most
influential and exciting.
