Not in the music critic establishment as it now stands. Punk Rules O.K.
there.  The Who are an old band, The Sex Pistols and The Clash are modern
bands. The period from 1967-1976 was the worst era in Rock history except
for The Velvet Underground and The Stooges.  I've actually read one review
from 2000 that said it was okay to like The Who becuase Joe Strummer liked
them!
