What's up with Roger?

Pete is beavering in the studio on Scoop 3, working on the Quad script
and dreaming of his next vacation.  John is getting the JEB together for
a Spring/Summer tour of the States.  What's Roger doing after this Vail
gig?

Since I have no facts to go on, I thought I might make something up.  Why
doesn't he get a band together and go out on the road on a double bill
with JEB?  They would have a better chance of booking some decent
theaters that way.
