La Jolla review from alt.music.who
This comes from Drew Matich over at alt.music.who:
Terrific, even if a bit short. Townshend in great humor and wonderful voice
all night. Played the Gibson J200 most of the time, with occasional trips
to
the piano. Let's see if I can reconstruct from memory (out of order I'm
sure):
Pinball Wizard
Let My Love Open the Door
Cut My Hair
Slit Skirts
Heart to Hang Onto
Greyhound Girl (on 12-string)
Drowned
Sheraton Gibson
Tattoo
The Sea Refuses No River
Eminence Front
Won't Get Fooled Again
I'm One
Behind Blue Eyes
ENCORE: Sort of...he played another round of WGFA on electric with a little
solo and a few windmills thrown in. Kind of odd.
