Mick's Clan Upset By His Dahl-iance
by Rush & Molloy

Mick Jagger is still sneaking around with Sophie Dahl — even though the
other women in his life are said to be begging the venerable rocker to give
up the 23-year-old model.

Jagger and Dahl have been doing their best to stay in the shadows. They're
avoiding restaurants in London, where Jagger has been making a solo album.
This week, he smuggled Dahl into the recording studio for a three-hour
dinner.

Why all the hugger-mugger? One family friend tell us that, with Jagger
turning 58 next month, his romance "has everybody in the family upset" —
including daughters Jade, 30, and Elizabeth, 17.

Having reportedly put his upper West Side townhouse on the market, the
friend says, "Mick is helping Elizabeth find her own apartment so that she
won't run into Sophie when she comes over."

Clucking her tongue the loudest is said to be Jerry Hall, Jagger's ex and
mother to Elizabeth, James, Georgia and Gabriel. One source says that, as
she has during other stressful times, Jerry has been turning for advice to
their London neighbor Pete Townshend.

Some claim Mick doesn't appreciate the Who guitarist getting involved. But
there can't be much of a quarrel between the two rock legends, because
Jagger invited Townshend to play on his new album.

Mick's rep insists "there's no family drama" over Dahl. Meanwhile, Jagger is
holding still for a new documentary about his life and work. Thirty-one
years after "Gimme Shelter" captured the Rolling Stones' scary Altamont
concert, Jagger is letting Kevin MacDonald, who won an Oscar last year for
"One Day in September," film him in the studio and at home.

But will we see Sophie?
