And they're equating commercialism with making money?  The only true artist 
is a poor artist?

There do seem to be some fans on the Who lists who think that TED were out 
of line to make money from the last tour, rather than to just break even.  
It goes way back, too, where fans at Woodstock and Isle of Wight felt that 
the organizers were out of line to charge admission.

What is anti-commercial in the public mind?  Remaining poor and giving music 
away for free?
