FAVORITE WHO SINGLE : Won't Get Fooled Again
FAVORITE WHO MOVIE : The Kids Are Alright
FAVORITE WHO-RELATED BOOK : Maximum R & B/Concert File
FAVORITE WHO MEMBER : Pete

FAVORITE CONCERT EXPERIENCE: Who: Quad at MSG, 7/17/96- my first time seeing the Who. Seeing the three of them together up there, and then a fully accurate recreation of "Quadrophenia" and "The Rock-" blew my mind.
Solo: Pete at Supper Club, 5/4/96. I was living in Buffalo- 430 miles away from NYC- and was a freshman at college. I wanted to go see Pete but wasn't sure I could afford it, I wasn't too excited about taking the train for 8 hours, and for various reasons, my parents would have killed me if they knew I was coming home without seeing them. A friend had a ticket, but I declined. After seeing Pete on Conan a night or two before, I phoned up my friend in the middle of the night and told him to hold the ticket. I arrived in the city the next day- and a water valve had broken in midtown and the city was literally FLOODED. All I had with me was a backpack with a toothbrush and a change of boxers. Everyone was huddled on the inside of street corners, too freaked to go into the water. Knowing that the Supper Club was a general admission show, I went through the water anyway, soaking my brand new shoes, socks and jeans up to my knees. I watched the whole show from the front row balcony, completely soaked. It was amazing...especially when Pete broke into "Pure and Easy" for one line during "Three Steps to Heaven."
