Boston Globe previews Abbey Rd show

A cute write-up in today's Boston Globe:
http://www.boston.com/dailyglobe2/192/living/Go_Wednesday+.shtml

Hang with the 'rents

Your folks truck you to shows all summer, here's your chance to return the
favor. Tonight, a cavalcade of rock dinosaurs you've never heard of play a
tribute to some band called the Beatles(remember when the head of the local
Backstreet Boys fan club told you the Boys were bigger than the Beatles?
This is that band). The show features Alan Parsons, Ann Wilson , Todd
Rundgren , and John Entwistle. No, they are not the Beatles, but they are
fellow musicians who appreciate Beatles' music (ask Mom and Dad to explain).
You may not know the songs, but Mom didn't know any of 'N Sync's songs until
you brought her to the show last month, and now you hear her singing ''Pop''
every night on the Nordic Track. It may not be your idea of a fun show, but
remember the night Dad suffered through Britney and her low-rise trousers?
Bad example. The tribute, A Walk Down Abbey Road, starts at 8; tickets are
$35.

290 Northern Ave., 617-728-1600.
