What's that line in "We Close Tonight?"  The one following:

    I came so close to having you for me
    But I lost you in the fantasy
    I pretended to myself that you were mine already

    You ??????????????????????????
    You were watching me, so worldly-wise
    Then you changed the subject & talked about going steady

God, what a great song.  Aren't we all sure that OX wrote this song 
in spite of the liner notes in the ODDS & SODS reissue crediting Pete
as the songwriter?  Can't be a Pete song.  

Gotta be an OX song.
