Re: The Who Mailing List Digest V8 #172

Hi there--

I rarely post (it gets complicated with digest), but, I totally agree on what
you're saying about the teenyboppers in schools these days. None of them get The
Who at all, not even the ones that tolorate them around my old school
(thankfully, I'm in HS now!). When I wear my Who shirt to school that I got last
August, all these girls come up to me and go "OOH! Who are they? Are they
cute?!" and i'm like "Just...shut up, okay?" since they really annoy me to no end
on it. One guy in my old spanish class tapped me on the shoulder one day and
asked "Who are the Who?" in this tone like he thought he was funny or something,
and I just growled and said "They're a type of turtle, dumbass." being my usual
stupid self, of course :-)

But, alas, at least there's the internet to bring we young Who fans together,
especially the females...hard to find others like me out there y'know!

Peace,
~Alex~
