Tales From The Who - CD Boot Review

There are tons of different CD boot versions of The WHO's 1973
Largo, MD QUAD radio show currently available & I discovered a
new one a few days ago.

It's a CD-R copy of a *1978* King Biscuit Flour Hour radio special
& includes some interviews with Pete, Keith, & Roger. The cover
claims "Original Master Disc" presumably meaning that the original
1978 radio master tape was used.

Now, I believe this show was first broadcast in 1973, so obviously
this CD isn't *that* show. But it does sound good. Real good. It
seems to sound a bit better than my other CD versions but I've been
listening to this show in various forms for the past 15 years & they all
start to run together!

Daltrey's "fuck" in "Dr. Jimmy" is still edited out & there's nothing new
besides the interview stuff which *is* rare & happily includes Keith.

Worth it.
