BTW, I'd think the Moody Blues fell into this category as well as being
somewhat progressive.  I don't think they're simply a pop band.  Anybody
listen to IN SEARCH OF THE LOST CHORD?  They're working at that same "One
Note" theory that Pete is in LIFEHOUSE.



I agree...always liked the old Moody Blues records (In Search of the Lost
Chord, Threshold of a Dream, To Our Children's Children's Children, A
Question of Balance, and Every Good Boy Deserves Favour) which reflect a nice
combination of instrumental experimentation (some very progressive keyboard
work at the time) and creative songwriting.  Definitely not a "pop"
band...although not nearly as good as the Who, primarily because the Who are
better musicians.
