Lifehouse demo chops Moon 2K

I listened to the Pete and Who versions of WGFA yesterday and kind of got
the opposite impression. That Pete recorded the demos with his bandmates
styles in mind. The vocal Pete track has some Roger-like growls and grunts.
Is this a safe assumption given the fact that the demos were intended to be
a blueprint for Who recordings? Is it just that magical Who synergy? Its
hard to tell where then individuals and the group dynamics begin and end.

'dynamics.' I here now go on record by saying that no drummer in Rock
had/has/or likely will have the dynamics that Keith Moon had. His ability
to caress & flow through a song, creating moods & tones as he went is
unparalleled by anyone."

Scott, Very well put! I was thinking a very strange thought this morning
as I was listening to the first Max R&B disc. Keith would have made a great
piano player. Keith did things with the drums that Little Richard and Jerry
Lee Lewis did with the piano. What I mean is that Keith found a way to play
melodic percussion. Similarly LilR and Jerry Lee found a way to play
percussion with the piano, which had been used mostly for melody in pop
before them.

A mind boggling thought for me - Who 2000 if Keith had lived: Zak on drums,
an old Keith pounding on the keyboards.
