A couple more items from Pollstar.

Here's a list of the average ticket price of the Top Nine concert earners in
the U.S. plus The Who:
#1 - Tina Turner $64.09
#2 - N'Sync $46.36
#3 - Dave Matthews Band $42.48
#4 - Kiss $48.16
#5 - Faith Hill/Tim McGraw $49.26
#6 - The Dixie Chicks $42.08
#7 - Bruce Springsteen $62.43
#8 - Crosby Stills Nash and Young $76.33
#9 - Metallica $58.79
#21 - The Who $69.63

Also The Who's ticket sales grossed $21,100,000 in the U.S. They sold an
average of 13,175 tickets per venue (lower than anyone in the top nine
except Kiss) and averaged $917,391 gross per venue (higher than Tina Turner,
Kiss, Faith Hill/Tim McGraw or The Dixie Chicks).
