I have to agree with you that Keith would have put a
heavy rock stamp on the face dances songs. And I also dont think some of
those songs would have been accepted as easily, if moon had been there. I
also think It's Hard would have been a much much better record and far better
representation if keith had been there, sonce quite a few of those songs overall
are really quite good. But with all the turmoil going on it was impossible
for the songs to be translated with much clarity.

a different pete(no more drugs, alcohol) but why couldnt moon have

moon was the who's salvo, their firing cylinder. pete
also said kenney was
stiff on the drums after 1980 b/c he was going thru a
bad divorce. in 79 i
like kenney but after that i think his drumming got
very stiff.
