The Who sound

Here's one of those comments (from another list) about Pete's guitar and The 
Who's current sound.  Of course, there were the usual follow-up comments on 
the absence of Moon.

Assuming Moon hadn't died, how would The Who sound now?  Anybody want to 
project the trends, and the fact that they're 20 years older, and have a 
guess at it?
