I'd have to say that the TKAA version is the better live version. After that bullshit
'89 tour they seemed to have made a decision to keep the opening bass lines more
quiet, like the piano in the studio version.

I like the pre-'89 versions in which OX's opening bass lines are LOUD & BOOM-
ING.

Now if I had to choose my all-time favorite version I guess it would be the studio
version because the violin sends shivers down my back (not taking away anything
from Rog & his harmonica playing).

Many live versions of BOR seem sluggish & sometimes a bit awkward (Moon makes
a mistake in the TKAA version). When Kenny Jones joined, things got a little better -
tighter, yet still powerful. I especially like the little roll he does after the "Sally take my
hand..." line on everyone's favorite live Who album WHO'S LAST.

Oh and another thing: Why does it always seem like Pete says "Don't *braise* your
eye...?" What's with the initial "b" sound before the word "raise?" And he seems to
do it that way nearly *all* the time. There are only a scant few versions I have where
it sounds like he's actually saying "raise" & not "braise." Anyone else hear "braise"
instead of "raise?" Or should I seek help?
