Re: Has Pete lost it?

keets/LB,

I'm going to keep my comments on IGTC. I just read another "you are stupid"
rant that keeps the insult tradition alive for others to enjoy on O&S. I
just do not get it.

Anywho, I think that Pete has plenty of lyrics lying around. I seem to
remember one of his diary entries from last year mentioning an inventory of
"brilliant" poetry. I poked around in there and couldn't find it.

My guess is that the gun is loaded and Pete has simply not pulled the
trigger. Whether he is giving The Who a rest, is afraid, procrastinating,
waiting for the right time, working on other stuff or just teasing us is not
clear to me.

You know I agree with you on your love of the 2000 TKAA2K and Crossroads
jams. TKAA2K is lytically well-developed, while Crossroads is musically
well-developed. The inverse is true as well: TKAA2K in musically
under-developed and Crossroads is lyrically under-developed. They also
suggest the themes that are likely to occupy any new Who work.

Keep up the good thoughts, keets. Let the name-callers eat shit.

Jeff
