Stars save rehab clinic
Rock stars have stumped up £60,000 to keep open a treatment centre in west
London after pleas from Pete Townsend [sic] of the Who, a reformed
alcoholic.

Cheques sent by Eric Clapton, Mick Jagger, Phil Collins, Paul Simon and
Roger Waters will keep the Chaucer Clinic, which treats homeless addicts
free alongside fee-paying celebrities, in business for the next six months.
