Yeah, just look at how much nitpicking there is over the remasters
where no overdubbing was done!

There will always be some segment of the audience that is never
satisfied unless -they- were the ones to do the "mixing", "dubbing",
"mastering", etc.  I bet those same people wouldn't even be pleased
with the results of having our boys in the studio!  They just can't be
pleased, so in the end its best to just ignore their complaints and
get on with life.
