I accept Alan's point about why not let others bear the financial risk of
possible
releases. However, I think part of the problem may be editorial and the
competence
and expertise of said investors. I remember when TKAA was finally finished
and
about to be released. The Who/Bill Curbishley were not happy with the film
and
the way it was put together,and even went on to call Jeff Stein an
'Amateur'.There
subsequently was a falling out amongst both parties and as rumour/legend
would
have it,'the disappearance' of a certain amount of important footage.
