The standard procedure is the first time the boots are confiscated and the
seller warned never to do it again. Greg Biggs can give you more insight on
this, as I'm sure he's seen it happen at some of the record shows he
attends.

You could pass for a lawyer, yes. Make sure you wear a Winger shirt into
the store and you'll be OK.

I can't imagine the industry would be after a lone boot trader...besides,
it's not illegal to trade, just sell. I have a friend who used to sell
boots on EBay and woke the the FBI at his door. Just shows you to be
careful with Dave Matthews bootlegs, because he has a hotline...

That's true. You should get the book called Bootleg, by Clinton someone I
can't remember. It's a great book, and has a nice picture of  Tales From
The Who, too.
