I agree.

I went to the Quad show in Manchester, here in the UK; Pete not playing
electric was a disappointment, but using Simon was a MISTAKE - full stop.
When Pete finally picked up a Strat for The Rock, it was a blessed relief.
Simon Townshend was simply not up to it.

I had hoped that Geoff Whitehorn, who played at Hyde Park, would be filling
in, but sadly, no.

The show as a whole was still great, because it was The Who, and because of
the power of The Wondrous Thing called Quadrophenia.
At the end of the show, when just TED took a bow, I genuinely had a lump in
my throat - they were my boys.

Well, maybe ST played completely differently, when you saw him, but for me,
he was a let down.

Sorry, can't get your banter; presumably this means that you don't agree
with P in P - but I do.

I have to say I didn't feel I'd been lied to; I think most of us were fully
aware that Pete wouldn't be plugged in.

So, what does the panel think?

Keep on a rockin'

Warren.
