PT - NEWS FLASH

Here's a summary of Pete's revelations in his latest diary entry:

-There will probably be no new Who album in 2001, but there may well be new
Who songs. Although he does not know where they will come from.

-The Who will not continue their tour in Europe as rumored, however, Pete
talked about playing a live TV show that reaches a large part of Europe or a
European charity show. The reason Pete gave is that he needs to work on his
solo projects and to re-charge. He did say that he hope they could tour
Europe in early 2002.

-TED will continue to see each other as often as they can "to continue to
explore what they might do next as a creative band."

-Pete says the tour has been "all in all wonderful." Yet there will be a
pause (in Who activity). Maybe even a long pause.

Considering everything he's said in the past 18 years, this would have to be
classified as positive Pete. His message carries a tinge of optimism for a
Who future. Don't be surprised if he changes his mind.
