YOU'RE A DEAD RINGO FOR YOUR DAD

WHO'S The Who's drummer? That was the question when Ringo Starr's son, Zak Starkey, lined up with the rock greats.

With his mop top, Zak, 34, looked just like dad as he took the band through a stunning set at Glasgow's SECC.

It was all the more special because the group's legendary wild-living drummer, Keith Moon, taught him how to play before his death.

Lead singer Roger Daltry said: "The band hasn't been this raw since Keith died. Zak is an incredible replacement. He's kind of
organic because he was taught by Keith."

Daltry added: "When I listen it could be him, it's uncannily similar, although obviously you can't replace that personality, that
humour."

Wildman Moon, who was famous for stunts like driving his Rolls-Royce into a swimming pool, died in 1978. The Who haven't played
Glasgow since 1982, but fans at the SECC said they were "red-hot" as they stormed through classics such as Pinball Wizard and Can't
Explain.

Zak Starkey is Ringo's son from his first marriage.

Moon took the young Zak under his wing when they split.

And, hanging around rockers like Rolling Stone Mick Jagger and Small Faces singer Steve Marriot, Starkey built up a reputation for
living a hard rock 'n' roll life before marrying wife Sarah in 1985.
